Most Recent Version File Access #

When you purchase Sales Igniter you will get the most recent version file access emailed to you. If a newer version is released, you will get access as long as you are within the support / updates period included with your purchase. Contact us with the email address used for purchase to get access to updated versions – we always send out an email when newer versions are released. How To Update #

If you are upgrading a live site, it’s best to first test the upgrade on a dev server copy of your site, especially if you have a lot of extra Magento extensions.

1. Backup your files & database

2. Make sure you have compilation turned off. This is in admin > system > tools > compilation

3. Extract the extension file to your hard drive. Then upload all the files overwriting all the files already on your server.

4. After that is done clear the cache in Magento under system > cache settings

5. If upgrading from before version 2.0, you will need to make a media/pdfs folder with 755 permissions

Cpanel – File Manager Faster Upgrades

If you have cpanel, upgrades are faster using file manager. You can easily backup your Magento directory in file manager by selecting the files & folders and selecting “compress” from the menu – this will backup your files.

Then just upload the zip file of our extension to the directory where you have Magento installed. Unzip the extension zip folder using the extract button. You will then still need to clear the cache in system > cache
