SI Subscriptions & Memberships for Shopify
Sell subscriptions and memberships, with every feature on every plan
SI Subscriptions & Memberships adds subscribe options to your product pages, an account page where customers manage their own plan, and member tiers with prices, store credit and members-only content. Plans differ only in how many active subscriptions you run.
One set of features, three sizes
Every plan has every feature. You only pick how many active subscriptions you expect.

Subscribe on the product page, manage it in the account
Customers choose how often and see the saving. After that they look after their own subscription.
A demo coffee roaster: the subscribe option on the product page, and what the customer sees in their account.
Stop asking customers to reorder
Repeat customers shouldn’t have to remember you. A subscription keeps the order coming and looks after itself.
Repeat orders by hand
- Reminder emails that ask customers to reorder
- Pausing and skipping handled in your inbox
- Failed cards found when the customer complains
- Member discounts given out one code at a time
With SI Subscriptions & Memberships
- Charges run on the schedule the customer picked
- Customers pause, skip and cancel from their account
- Failed payments retry and email the customer
- Member prices and perks apply by themselves
How a subscription runs
The guide in the app starts with what your store needs.
Create a plan
Set the frequency, the discount and the first order.
Add the chooser
Add the block to your product page and turn on the app embed.
Customers subscribe
They pick a frequency and check out as usual.
Charges run
Renewals go out on schedule, and failed payments retry.
Customers self-serve
Pause, skip, change or cancel in their account.
You watch the numbers
Analytics shows MRR, churn and recovered payments.
Plans that fit how you sell
From a simple subscribe-and-save to prepaid gifts.
Any frequency
Up to 31 choices on a plan: every 1 to 365 days, 1 to 52 weeks, 1 to 36 months or 1 to 5 years.
Discounts
A percent, an amount or a set price, on every charge.
Trials and sign-up fees
A free trial of 1 to 365 days, or a one-off fee on the first order.
Prepaid plans
Sell 2 to 52 deliveries up front, then renew or end.
Gift subscriptions
A prepaid plan sent to someone else, with an email on the day you choose.
A set billing day
Charge on a set day of the week, month or year.
Fewer support emails and fewer lost subscribers
Customers handle their own changes, and a failed card gets a second chance.
A page in the customer account
Next charge, card, address and history, on new customer accounts.
Self-service
Pause, skip, change frequency and cancel are on by default. Swap and add to next order are your choice.
A cancel flow
Ask for a reason and make one offer: pause, skip, a cheaper plan or a discount.
Failed payments
Retries on days 1, 3, 5 and 7 by default, then pause or cancel. Hard declines don’t retry.
Renewal notices
An upcoming charge email 3 days ahead, and a warning 14 days before a card expires.
Your emails
23 kinds with your own subject and message, merge tags, test sends and a delivery log.
Paid tiers with real perks
Sell a membership on a plan or as a one-time product, and let the perks apply by themselves.
Member prices
A percent, an amount or a price on all products, collections or tags.
Member shipping
Free or a percent off.
Store credit
A set amount each period, with expiry and a rollover cap, on new customer accounts.
Members-only products
Checkout refuses non-members. The product details stay public.

Members added by staff
Add a member by hand, from a one-time product with a length, or for life.
A library for your members
Members line up what they want next and you send it when one comes back. The app calls this the Rental queue, and it works without our rental app.

Questions about SI Subscriptions & Memberships
When can I install it?
We don’t have a date yet. Shopify has to approve subscription access for the app first, and then it goes to the Shopify App Store for review.
Do I need Rentals & Bookings?
No. The app works on any Shopify store.
What is the difference between plans?
Only how many active subscriptions they include: 5, 50 or unlimited. Every plan has every feature.
What happens past my limit?
New subscriptions still start. You get emails at 80, 100 and 110%, and a red banner past 110%.
What counts as active?
Active, trial, paused and past due subscriptions.
Which payment providers work?
Those that support subscriptions on Shopify. Your store also needs new customer accounts for the account page.
Do customers manage their own subscription?
Yes, in their account: pause, skip, change frequency, cancel and change their address.
What happens when a card fails?
The app retries on days 1, 3, 5 and 7 by default, then pauses or cancels. Hard declines don’t retry.
Can I sell memberships without a recurring charge?
Yes. Use a one-time product with a length, or for life, or add members yourself. Those members get no automatic store credit.
What is the lending queue?
A library for members. They line up items, you send the next one in stock, and a return frees the slot. Each send is a $0 Shopify order.
Is there a free plan?
Yes, for 5 active subscriptions with every feature. Pro and Ultimate have 90-day free trials.
