Dumpster rental software for deliveries, pickups and tonnage
The hire is a delivery date and a pickup date. Stock is counted per container size, per day. Placement questions, permits and weight overages ride on the order. Built for WooCommerce and Magento 2.
Book by delivery and pickup date, count stock per size, and keep placement, permits and overages on the order.
- Delivery and pickup dates
- Stock per container size
- Overages from the deposit

Nobody collects a dumpster from your yard
Booking plugins written for tours and appointments assume the customer picks the product up and brings it back. Roll-off and skip hire is a drop, a window and a collection, and the final bill waits for the landfill scale.
The hire is two truck runs
The booking is a delivery date and a pickup date. The container sits on site for the whole window, and the truck run at each end is scheduled with it.
A delivery date and a pickup date.
Stock is a quantity per size
The customer needs one 20-yarder, not a particular container. Availability has to be counted per size and per day, across every day of the window.
Availability per size, per day.
Weight is billed after the fact
A 20-yard hire includes a tonnage allowance, and the landfill ticket decides the overage days after the container came back.
The scale ticket decides the overage.
Placement decides the job
Driveway or street, the surface, overhead wires, gate width and a permit are questions to answer before the truck is dispatched.
Placement answered before dispatch.
Swap-outs and extensions are routine
A renovation fills a container faster than planned: a fresh one dropped as the full one leaves, or three more days on site.
Extend or swap without a phone call.
Prohibited items need a signature
No tyres, no paint, no appliances with refrigerant and no hazardous waste, and the customer agrees to that before the drop.
Agreed before the container arrives.
Book by delivery date and pickup date, with stock counted per size
| Size | 7 days | Tons included |
|---|---|---|
| 10 yard | $349.00 | 1 ton |
| 15 yard | $399.00 | 1.5 tons |
| 20 yard | $449.00 | 2 tons |
| 30 yard | $549.00 | 3 tons |
| 40 yard | $649.00 | 4 tons |
The start of the hire is the delivery date and the end is the pickup date. The customer picks both, or picks the delivery date and a fixed length such as 7 or 14 days and the pickup date is set for them. Every day in between counts against the stock of that size.
Each size is a product with its own quantity, or a variation of one roll-off product with its own stock and price. If all six 20-yarders are out on any day of the window, those dates are greyed out while the 30-yard beside it may still be open. See the full rental feature list for how stock is counted per date.
Turnaround days for the haul, the tip and the return trip
A container collected on Friday isn’t back in the yard and empty on Friday. It’s hauled, tipped and often washed or repaired first. Set a buffer after each hire, per size or as a site default, in hours or days, and the calendar takes that time off sale by itself: with one day on the 30-yarders and the weekend closed, a Friday pickup is next offered for Monday delivery.
Buffers can differ by size, a 10-yarder that turns round the same afternoon and a 40 that needs a day. Your drivers work from a dated list of what goes out and what comes back each day, with a pick list for the morning run, and customers get a reminder by email, SMS or WhatsApp before the drop.
Placement questions, permits and overages on the order
The delivery address is often not the billing address: a rental property, a job site, a relative’s house being cleared. With the Custom Fields plugin Pro you ask the questions that decide the drop on the product itself: driveway or street, the surface, gate width, overhead wires, and where on the property the container should sit. Required fields block add-to-cart, and because the answers belong to the cart line, a contractor ordering for two sites carries two placement records.
A street placement usually needs a permit: a required checkbox confirms the customer has one, a priced option asks you to get it, and a file upload takes the permit itself. For the weight known only afterwards, take a refundable deposit Pro and keep the per-ton overage from it when the scale ticket comes back, or keep the card as a secure token and charge the overage then.
Deposits, signed terms and placement answers in one checkout
Extra days, a same-day swap or a permit application go on the same order, as priced options Pro or as a second hire at the same address that starts the day the first one ends.
- Extra days
- Same-day swap
- Permit application
- Driveway boards
- Concrete-only container
Refundable security deposits
Take a deposit per hire at checkout through your own payment gateway, keep the overage or contamination charge from it when the scale ticket says so, and return the rest when the order is completed.
Signed hire agreements
The customer signs your terms, the prohibited-items list and the placement liability wording during checkout. A PDF with their signature is stored against the order. Starting from scratch? See our free rental contract templates.
Placement answers and permits
Placement, access and permit questions on the product, a file upload for the permit, and priced options such as a permit application, all kept on the order line, so a damaged-driveway claim or a disputed overage is a lookup. About custom fields.

WooCommerce dumpster rental plugin
The right fit for most independent roll-off and skip hire operators. If your site already runs WordPress, it becomes a dumpster booking system without rebuilding the storefront.

- Delivery and pickup dates as the hire, with fixed 7 or 14-day lengths or free dates
- Turnaround days after each hire, per container size
- Self-service extensions from My Account, priced from your rates
- Placement, access and permit questions at booking Pro
- Refundable deposits for overage and contamination, and a signed hire agreement Pro
Magento 2 dumpster rental extension
For multi-yard waste and skip hire companies on Adobe Commerce or Magento Open Source: regional depots, contractor accounts and tendered work.
- Multi-source inventory holds container stock per yard
- Customer-group pricing for builders, property managers and councils
- Request for Quote for long-term site containers and commercial contracts (sold separately)
- The same per-date stock, buffers, deposits and signed agreements (Pro)
- Multi-store and multi-language for groups trading under several brands or regions

From container sizes to first drop in six steps
Step 1: A product per container size
10, 15, 20, 30 and 40-yard containers, each with the number you own as its stock.
Step 2: The delivery and pickup calendar
A delivery date and a pickup date, or a delivery date and a fixed length. Only windows with a free container are offered.
Step 3: Turnaround days
Haul, tip and return time after each hire, per size, taken off sale by itself.
Step 4: Flat rates, extra days and tonnage
A flat price per size and length, a daily rate for extra days, and the included tons and per-ton overage in the description and the agreement.
Step 5: Placement, permit and deposit
Placement and permit questions, a required deposit and a signed agreement before the order is placed.
Step 6: Dispatch, collect, weigh and settle
Drivers work from the dated delivery and pickup lists. When the scale ticket comes back, keep any overage from the deposit and release the rest.

Dumpster rental software FAQs
Can customers book a delivery date and a pickup date rather than a single day?
Yes. The start of the hire is the delivery date and the end is the pickup date. Customers pick both, or pick a delivery date and a fixed length such as 7 or 14 days, and every day between counts against the stock of that size.
How is stock counted when I have six 20-yard containers?
As a quantity per size, per day. A window is offered only if a 20-yarder is free on every day of it, including the turnaround after the previous hire, and each size is counted on its own. You can also give each container a serial number to know which one went where.
How do I charge for weight overages I only know about after pickup?
Take a refundable deposit at checkout with the Security Deposits plugin and keep the overage from it when the scale ticket arrives, returning the rest; or keep the customer’s card as a secure token and charge the overage then. Either way the charge is recorded on the order.
Can I ask where the container will go and whether a permit is needed?
Yes, with the Custom Fields plugin in Pro. Placement, surface, access and permit questions sit on the product, can be made required, and a file upload takes the permit itself. The answers are stored against the order line.
Can a customer extend a hire or order a swap-out online?
Yes. Customers extend from My Account: the calendar checks the size is still free and the extra days are priced from your rates. A swap-out is a second hire at the same address starting the day the first ends, so one truck run collects the full container and drops the empty one.
Can customers agree to the prohibited-items list before the drop?
Yes. The Contract Signing plugin in Pro puts your terms, the prohibited-items list and the contamination fee in front of the customer at checkout, and files the signed PDF with the order.
Can a dispatch or routing tool read the bookings?
Yes. The REST API covers bookings, availability, pricing and serial numbers, and sends and returns, so another tool can read the day’s drops and pickups.
Is there a monthly fee or a commission on bookings?
No. It installs on your own WooCommerce or Magento 2 site on a one-time licence, and orders, addresses and signed agreements stay in your own database. See our self-hosted, open-source rental software overview.
