RnB or Sales Igniter: two rental plugins for WooCommerce
RnB is REDQ’s rental and booking plugin for WooCommerce. redq.io still lists it, but the CodeCanyon page it links to read “This item is no longer available” on 17 October 2026.2 Sales Igniter is a rental plugin for WooCommerce, Magento 2 and Shopify, with serial numbers, send and return, deposits and contracts. Here is what each one does, screen by screen, and what each costs.
The competitor
What RnB is, and who it is for
RnB, the WooCommerce Booking & Rental Plugin, is made by REDQ, who also sell WordPress themes and React templates.1 It adds a Rental product type to WooCommerce with pickup and return dates and times, and REDQ’s demos cover cars, bikes, equipment, dresses, boats, holiday homes, hotels and tours.4
Each product draws on inventory items that hold the quantity, resources, persons, deposits, locations and prices.8 Prices can be general, by weekday, by month, by day range, hourly or flat-hour, with discounts by length of rental,12 and a Request for Quote button lets customers ask for a price instead of booking straight away.16
REDQ’s site lists it at $29 once and links to its CodeCanyon item page to buy it.1 On 17 October 2026 that page read “This item is no longer available”, and REDQ’s CodeCanyon portfolio listed the RnB add-ons but not the plugin itself.3 The latest release in its changelog is v18.0.4, from 29 May 2025.20 REDQ also offers RnB Lite free on wordpress.org, a separate plugin with fewer features.6

Sales Igniter: a rental plugin for WooCommerce, Magento 2 and Shopify
Sales Igniter is also a plugin that runs inside your own WooCommerce store, so with either one the booking form sits on your product pages and the orders go through your own checkout. The difference is what each is built around: Sales Igniter tracks rental stock by quantity or by serial number, checks items out and back in, and adds deposits, contracts, maintenance and stock by location.29

Frequently asked questions
Can I still buy RnB?
REDQ’s site lists RnB at $29 once and links to its CodeCanyon item page, which read “This item is no longer available” on 17 October 2026.2 Envato says a licence continues even if an item is removed from its market, so a licence bought earlier stays valid.24 Sales Igniter for WooCommerce is sold on our own site, with a year of updates and support in every licence.
What is RnB Lite?
A free plugin by REDQ on wordpress.org. On 17 October 2026 its listing showed version 2.1.1, last updated 3 years ago and tested up to WordPress 6.2.14, and REDQ describes the paid RnB as completely different, with many more features.6
Does RnB track serial numbers or check items back in?
Its documentation describes inventory items with a quantity, attached to each product, and dates blocked by hand; serial numbers and check-in screens are not described.8 Sales Igniter tracks stock by quantity or by serial number and checks items out and back in at the Send & Return desk, with a barcode scanner if you have one.
Does Sales Igniter take deposits and part payments like RnB?
Yes. RnB has security deposits and a part payment at checkout built in.6 In Sales Igniter for WooCommerce, paying part now and the balance later is in Regular, and refundable security deposits, damage waivers and signed contracts are in Pro.
Does Sales Igniter have request a quote?
Yes: request a quote is in Ultimate on WooCommerce and Magento 2, and on WooCommerce a delivery cost by distance is in Regular. RnB has a Request for Quote button built in,16 and prices by distance from points chosen on a map.4
Can I sell rental packages and kits?
Yes. Sales Igniter for WooCommerce includes Bundles & Composites, so a package is one product while each item in it draws on its own stock. RnB’s documentation does not describe bundles or kits; one product draws on the inventory items attached to it.8
Is there a Magento or Shopify version?
Yes. Sales Igniter is also a Magento 2 extension, and Rentals & Bookings for Shopify is billed monthly or yearly through Shopify. The Shopify app is coming soon, and its prices appear on this page at launch. RnB is for WooCommerce only.4
