What Makes Golf Cart Rental Different

- Multi-day is the normal hire. A vacation week, a tournament long weekend or an event build-to-breakdown window, not a two-hour slot. Weekly and event rates matter more than hourly ones.
- Delivery to the venue is part of the order. Carts are trailered to the rental house, the resort, the fairground or the campus and collected afterwards, and the address is almost never the billing address.
- Seat count is the product. Two-, four- and six-seaters, lifted and street-legal LSVs, gas and electric — each with its own stock, its own price and its own deposit.
- Driver age and licence are conditions of hire. Street-legal carts need a licensed driver; most operators set a minimum age and want to see the licence before the keys are handed over.
- Damage is frequent and specific. Windscreens, body panels, battery abuse and flat tyres are recorded against a cart number, so the fleet has to be tracked as individual units.
- Demand is seasonal and event-driven. The beach season, tournament weeks and festival dates sell out the fleet in advance, and pricing needs to follow.
Multi-Day Resort and Event Hire, Priced by the Day, Week or Event

Fixed hire lengths can be offered instead of an open choice — a Friday-to-Sunday event package, a seven-night resort week — which is how most cart hire is actually sold. Special pricing by date raises rates for tournament weeks, spring break and holiday weekends, and a minimum hire length keeps the six-seaters off the calendar for a single afternoon.
For event customers who need twenty carts for a build-to-breakdown window, the quantity of each cart type is counted per date, so the calendar only accepts the order if that many are genuinely free for the whole window. Seat Count, Lifted, Street-Legal and Electric Variants
A “golf cart” is one product with variations in Sales Igniter: two-seat, four-seat and six-seat; standard or lifted; gas or electric; street-legal LSV or off-road only. Each variation has its own stock, its own availability, its own price and its own deposit, so booking out the last two six-seaters for a wedding does not make the four-seaters look unavailable, and a street-legal cart can carry a higher deposit and a stricter waiver than a course cart. Because variants are real inventory rather than dropdown text, the calendar answers the question the customer actually has: is a six-seater free for the week of the 14th?
A Fleet Tracked by Cart Number
Sales Igniter supports two inventory models and lets you mix them. Quantity-based stock suits chargers, coolers, rain covers and the identical course carts nobody needs to tell apart. Serial-number-based stock treats each cart as its own asset by cart number or VIN, with its own hire history: who had cart 17 for the tournament week, what was charged, and what came back damaged. That is the model for street-legal and premium carts and for any fleet that has ever argued about a windscreen.
Per-cart tracking also lets you take a single unit out of the pool for a battery replacement or a body repair without touching the rest of the fleet, and the utilisation report shows which seat counts earn and which sit in the barn. Barcode or QR labels on the dash let staff scan a cart out at delivery and back in at collection from a phone, which closes the hire, starts the turnaround buffer and releases the deposit.
Delivery to the Venue, Collection and Turnaround
Very few carts are collected from your yard. The order carries the delivery address — the rental house, the resort, the venue, the festival gate — separately from the billing address, and delivery and collection are priced as their own charges, by distance band or venue if you like. Your drivers see a dated list of what is going out and what is being picked up each day. Turnaround buffers per cart type sit between hires, in hours or days: a charge and a wash on the electric fleet, a service check after a festival weekend. The calendar removes the buffer from sale itself, so a cart collected Monday morning is not promised to a Monday afternoon delivery on the other side of town. Driver Age, Licence Checks and Damage Waivers at Booking
The questions your counter staff ask belong on the product page. With the rental custom fields add-on you attach a driver date-of-birth field with a minimum age, a licence number and a photo upload of the licence, the number of drivers, and the venue contact and gate instructions, and make the ones that matter required so a street-legal cart cannot be added to the basket without a licensed driver on the order. Fields belong to the cart line, so an event order for six carts and a golf-course order for two keep their answers apart.
A decline-able damage waiver can be priced per cart per day as an alternative to a larger deposit, which is how most resort operators sell it. 2. Put the booking calendar on the product page
