Delivery Routing has four plans: Free, Regular, Pro and Ultimate. Each plan includes everything in the one before it. Your plan, and what you’ve used this month, are under Settings › Plan and usage. Features your plan doesn’t include say which plan has them, for example “Reports are part of the Pro plan.”

Free: deliver with one vehicle #

  • 1 vehicle, 50 stops a month and 1 driver.
  • The delivery day and time slot picker for shoppers, in the cart and at checkout.
  • Delivery areas by postcode or distance.
  • The Schedule, run sheets and Order this route.
  • The driver app with proof of delivery.
  • The Your delivery window email, the morning day sheet and the drivers’ routes emails.

Regular: plan the day #

Everything in Free, plus:

  • Up to 2 vehicles and 2 drivers, with no limit on stops.
  • Plan the day across all your vehicles.

Pro: customer messages and reports #

Everything in Regular, plus:

  • Up to 5 vehicles and 5 drivers.
  • Every customer message: On my way, Running late, Delivered, Couldn’t deliver, Pick a delivery time and Delivery time changed, and Send reminder on the Deliveries page.
  • Reports, and Export CSV on the Schedule and Reports.
  • Several locations.

Ultimate: no limits, texts and outside planners #

Everything in Pro, plus:

  • Unlimited vehicles and drivers.
  • Outside route planners: openrouteservice with your own key, or your own VROOM server.
  • Text messages from your own Twilio account, coming soon. Twilio bills you for the texts; the app adds no charge.
  • The Delivery time (Plus) checkout block, for Shopify Plus stores.
  • Priority support.

How the limits work #

  • Vehicles: adding one more than your plan includes is refused, with which plan includes more: for example “Your Free plan includes 1 vehicle. Regular includes up to 2.”
  • Drivers: Free includes 1 active driver, Regular 2, Pro 5 and Ultimate unlimited. Adding one more than your plan includes is refused. There’s no per-driver fee: drivers are included in the plan.
  • Stops: only Free has a limit, 50 a month. “Stops are never refused: past the limit, new orders still become stops and every route still runs.” A stop counts once, in the month of its delivery day. Home tells you as you get near the month’s stops.

This month on Settings › Plan shows what you’ve used. The month’s counts start again on the 1st, in your store’s time zone.

Change your plan #

Open Settings › Plan and click Choose a plan or Change plan. Plans and billing are handled by Shopify. Paid plans start with a 90-day free trial.

Development stores #

On a development store every feature works and nothing is limited. Shopify doesn’t charge for plans there.

Included with Rentals & Bookings Ultimate #

With Rentals & Bookings Ultimate on the same store and the link turned on, the Pro plan of Delivery Routing is included at no charge. Settings › Plan then says it’s included with your Rentals & Bookings Ultimate plan. Other Rentals & Bookings plans don’t include it. See Delivery Routing with Rentals & Bookings.

On every plan: the API, webhooks and Shopify Flow #

  • API: read and change your stops and vehicles from your own systems, with the REST API (/api/v1/routes) or the GraphQL operations that start with routes. Keys belong to your store and work with every Sales Igniter app you have: see API overview: keys, versions, limits and errors. Settings › API has the details.
  • Webhooks tell your system when a stop changes status, when routes are sent and when a plan is accepted. Create them with the API; each one gets a secret to check the signature.
  • Shopify Flow triggers: Stop delivered and Stop couldn’t be delivered, with the order on the trigger, and Routes sent, with the day and how many routes and stops were sent.

Good to know #

  • On a lower plan, settings for a higher plan’s features stay saved. For example, customer messages are saved but not sent on Free and Regular, and an outside planner stays chosen while the built-in planner plans the day.
  • Prices are in US dollars.
