1. Go to admin > catalog > manage products

2. Choose the products you want to convert with the left column checkbox

3. From the top mass action grid choose from the drop down “Convert product type” and then “Simple to reservation” and submit.

4. After the products are converted, you will need to edit them to add the rental pricing. They will automatically inherit the same inventory level as your simple product had.
