What Is A Rental Contract #

Rental contracts are a way for you to have your customers sign to your terms & conditions. A general rental contract includes:

Where To Generate Rental Contracts #

Rental contracts can be generated by the admin in sales > orders > rental contract. You can also capture signatures from the admin panel in the case of admin created orders.

Your customers can receive a rental contract when the order is placed if you have enabled “attach contract to order emails” in rentals > settings > rental contract area. They can also view rental contracts in their my orders area of their account if you have enabled it.

What Is It Like For The Customer Experience? #

Customers will be able to sign the rental contract on checkout, or in the my orders area of my account depending on what you have enabled in rentals > settings > rental contract. They will be presented with a signature panel that can be signed with a mouse or a touchscreen mobile device if they are viewing your website on one.
