Not everyone wants the calendar to show on the product info page. Some stores like to have a global calendar. Under rentals > settings > global calendar change “Show calendar on right sidebar”  to enabled (or the Show calendar on left sidebar depending on your site template). Instead of showing a calendar on your product info page, your site will now show a global calendar like this:
