Release notes for Maintenance (salesigniter/releasemaintenance2), the add-on for maintenance tickets: a ticket takes a rental unit out of availability for a service window, with statuses, technicians, templates and automated schedules. It is included with Rental Booking Pro. For the rental extension itself, see the Rental Booking (Core) Release Notes.
Version 1.2.52 Released September 24, 2026 #
- FixMarking a maintenance ticket Complete now releases its stock in one save. Saving a ticket with a status that does not reserve inventory, such as Complete, used to leave its hold on the old dates, so the units stayed unavailable until the original end date unless the ticket was first saved as In Progress. Now the hold is removed and the ticket’s serial numbers become available straight away, the same as a ticket closed through the GraphQL API
- New featureUninstall support.
bin/magento module:uninstall --remove-datanow removes the maintenance tables, the maintenance settings, and the extension’s permissions and scheduled jobs. It first gives back what tickets held in the rental extension: their stock reservations and the serial numbers they had put on hold. See Uninstall or Disable - Upgrade noteRequires version 1.2.206 or later of the rental extension
Version 1.2.50 Released September 21, 2026 #
- FixThe extension installs on a new store again. On an empty database
setup:installstopped with a "Cannot drop index" database error when it reached this extension - FixUpgrading from a release older than November 2020 keeps every ticket’s status. The upgrade could stop with a duplicate column error, or leave tickets without a status, which would have stopped their maintenance windows blocking the product
- ChangeThe database tables are now created from the extension’s declared schema alone; the old install and upgrade scripts are gone
- ImprovementTranslations. The extension’s text ships in 19 languages: French, German, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Portuguese (Brazil and Portugal), Chinese (Simplified), Hindi, Arabic, Russian, Turkish, Romanian, Polish, Japanese and Korean, plus Swiss German, French and Italian
- ChangeThe separate version row is gone from the extension’s settings group. Its version is listed in the one Sales Igniter Version row the rental extension shows for every installed Sales Igniter extension
Version 1.2.49 Released September 15, 2026 #
- OptimizationIndexes on what the maintenance tickets grid filters by: status, start and end dates, and the linked reservation
- ChangeThe ticket tables are now described in the extension’s declared database schema, so every store ends up with the same structure. Stores upgraded through the old scripts gain the ticket-to-product link a new installation already had
Version 1.2.48 Released September 13, 2026 #
- New featureA GraphQL API for maintenance tickets: list, read, create, update and delete tickets, gated by the same admin permission as the tickets screen. A ticket whose status reserves inventory holds its quantity and the serial numbers named on it; moving it to a status that does not, or deleting it, gives both back. A serial number that is unknown for the product, already on another open ticket or out on a rental is refused. See Maintenance Tickets in the GraphQL API docs
- Upgrade noteThe maintenance ticket fields of the GraphQL API live in the Maintenance extension, and this release requires version 1.2.198 or newer of the rental extension
