Rental Order Extensions Release Notes

Release notes for Rental Order Extensions (salesigniter/releaserentalextend2), the add-on that lets a customer, or staff from the admin order page, extend a rental that is already booked. It is included with Rental Booking Pro. See Rental Order Extensions for how it works, and the Rental Booking (Core) Release Notes for the rental extension itself.

Version 1.2.70 Released October 15, 2026 #

• FixThe admin Extend popup has one title, shows the current end date, and its button says Extend rental (it said Add to New Order)

Version 1.2.69 Released October 12, 2026 #

• FixSecurity: only the customer can extend their own order. Extending now needs the signed-in owner of the order, an order that can be extended, a date the popup offers and stock for the extra days; nothing is written unless every line passes
• FixExtend Order works on Hyvä. My Account pages on a Hyvä storefront no longer fail with "require is not defined", and customers can extend a rental from the dashboard, My Orders and the order view again
• New featureWith booking deposits (Rental 1.2.213), a rental whose balance is overdue cannot be extended until the balance is paid: the Extend popup says so, with a payment link. A store setting can allow it
