Release notes for Multi Source Inventory (salesigniter/releaserentalinventory2), the add-on that connects rentals to Magento’s Multi Source Inventory: which source ships each rental, availability per source and stock, and keeping Magento from reserving or deducting stock for rental products. It is part of Rental Booking Multi Source Inventory Pro. For the rental extension itself, see the Rental Booking (Core) Release Notes.

Version 1.2.50 Released September 24, 2026 #
  • New featureUninstall support. bin/magento module:uninstall --remove-data now removes the tables older versions of this extension left behind and its permissions. The source column on the rental tables stays while the rental extension is installed, because the rental extension uses it too. See Uninstall or Disable
  • Upgrade noteRequires version 1.2.206 or later of the rental extension
Version 1.2.49 Released September 21, 2026 #
  • FixBundle availability. A bundle whose items could not be read counted as having 10,000 available, which the calendar took to mean unlimited, and a bundle whose items really hold more than 10,000 units was capped at 10,000. Bundles now use the same rule as the storefront calendar
  • ImprovementTranslations. The extension’s text ships in 19 languages: French, German, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Portuguese (Brazil and Portugal), Chinese (Simplified), Hindi, Arabic, Russian, Turkish, Romanian, Polish, Japanese and Korean, plus Swiss German, French and Italian
Version 1.2.48 Released September 15, 2026 #
  • FixAvailability checks in the admin, in command-line tools and in cron jobs failed with an error, because the admin website has no stock. They now use the default website’s stock, then the default stock
  • ChangeThe stored per-source and per-stock inventory tables are removed: availability is read from the reservations, so they were an out-of-date second copy. Their REST endpoints, their permissions and the GenerateInventoryTables console command go with them
  • FixSecurity: two storefront addresses that rebuilt inventory tables for anyone, without a login, are removed
  • OptimizationThe source column on reservations and serial numbers is indexed, which speeds up every report and the Rentals dashboard when they are filtered by source
Version 1.2.47 Released September 11, 2026 #
  • CompatibilityMagento 2.4.9. The extension’s console command stopped every bin/magento command under Symfony Console 7. This is the minimum version for Magento 2.4.9
