Release notes for Request for Quote & Hide Price (salesigniter/releaserfq2, with salesigniter/releaserfqrental2 for rental stores and salesigniter/hyvarfq for Hyvä), the extension that lets customers ask for a quote instead of buying at once, and hides prices where you choose. It works with or without the rental extension and is sold separately with its own licence. See Install Request for Quote & Hide Price to install it, and the Rental Booking (Core) Release Notes for the rental extension itself.
Version 1.0.0 Released September 28, 2026 #
- New featureFirst release of Request for Quote & Hide Price for Magento 2 (
salesigniter/releaserfq2), our own request for quote extension. Customers add products to a quote instead of the cart, from product, category and search pages, widgets, the wishlist or the shopping cart (Move to Quote), with a price they would like to pay and a note per line. You edit the quote on Magento’s own Create New Order page – fixed prices or percent off per line, a discount, surcharge or target total for the whole quote, shipping and an expiry date – and send an offer. The customer checks out at the agreed price, from My Quotes or from the link in the email, and guests can do it without an account. See Install Request for Quote & Hide Price - New featureHide prices and quote-only products. Hide the price and the Add to Cart button by customer group, category or product, replace them with Add to Quote, a link or a short "Get a quote" form, or make a product quote-only. It is enforced on the server: a hidden price is left out of pages, listings, search, widgets and GraphQL, and the cart refuses the product even when someone posts to it directly. A product’s own Price and Add to Cart settings work whether or not the store rule is switched on
- New featureSales > Quote Requests in the admin: a grid with mass actions, a page per quote with the conversation, attachments, status history and every version of the offer, Convert to Order, Clone as Quote from an order, Create Quote from a customer’s cart, custom quote fields, a Quote Requests report, staff permissions per action, a quote PDF, and emails for every step with reminders before an offer expires
- New featureRental stores install the rental bridge (
salesigniter/releaserfqrental2) as well: quotes carry rental dates, the admin editor gets the same date pickers as order create, stock can be held for a quote while the customer decides and moves onto the order when they check out, and rental prices, deposits and the damage waiver follow the hide price rules - New featureA GraphQL API for headless stores and integrations, a Hyvä storefront (
salesigniter/hyvarfq), and an importer that brings quotes over from Amasty Request a Quote. The two extensions can run side by side while you move - Upgrade noteSold separately with its own licence ($299, then $149/year for updates and support); it is not part of Pro or Multi Source Inventory Pro, and it has its own composer repository, shown on the install page. It needs Common 1.2.57 (
salesigniter/releasecommon2), which composer installs with it. Runbin/magento module:enablefor the new modules beforesetup:upgrade, as the install page shows - CompatibilityMagento Open Source and Adobe Commerce 2.4.7 to 2.4.9, PHP 8.2 to 8.4, Luma and Hyvä. The rental bridge needs the rental extension 1.2.209 or later. The Amasty RFQ Integration is a separate product and stays supported
