Release history for the Bundles & Composites plugin. The newest release is listed first.

Version 1.0.2 – October 16, 2026 #

The first release. Needs WooCommerce; rental kits need Sales Igniter Rentals & Bookings for WooCommerce Lite 1.0.17 or later.

  • ImprovementNew admin menu. With the new Rentals menu (Rentals & Bookings Lite 1.0.18 / Regular 1.0.81), the Bundles page (settings and import) is Rentals → Setup → Tools → Bundles, and Rentals → Reports links to Analytics → Bundles while WooCommerce Analytics is on. Without Rentals & Bookings it stays under WooCommerce
  • ImprovementLicense. Beside Rentals & Bookings Regular 1.0.81 this plugin is on the one Licenses screen (Rentals → Settings → Licenses): Included when your package covers it, else with a key of its own. An expired key keeps it working; only updates are paused. Its own License page leads there. Used without Regular, nothing changes
  • New featureThe Bundle product type. Fixed items and choices in one list, drag to reorder, with a Bundle items tab and guard-rail notes instead of errors. Item prices (included, or at its own price minus a percent), quantities, optional items, variation limits, titles and descriptions, and visibility on the product page, in the cart and in orders and emails
  • New featureChoices. Options from products, categories or tags with exceptions, a default pick, option styles, paging, sort, attribute filters and option prices; a dropdown of over 1,000 options gets a search box. A bundle that needs no setting up can be an option inside a choice
  • New featureLayouts. List, Table, Grid, Stacked, Accordion, Steps and Summary first, with phone-width layouts and a share link for picks
  • New featureRules. Hide items, hide options, show only options and allow only listed combinations, with a rule tester; checked in the browser and again on the server. Size limits, quantity discounts, bundle-sells, a “You save” line and shop price modes
  • New featureShipping and stock. Ship as separate items, one package (with weight) or none; sold individually per product or per set of choices; edit in the cart. Stock from the scarcest required item, background sync, low and no stock notices and a Needs attention filter in the product list
  • New featureCart and orders. Grouped, flat or items-only cart and order lines, order again, coupons, refunds per line, and Add item(s) and Configure on the order screen. Analytics → Bundles with bundles sold, items sold and low stock
  • New featureRental kits. One set of dates for the whole kit, availability across its items, a live rental total, two price modes, merged item rules, and rent and buy in one bundle. The same-stock recipe: one hidden item behind several single-item bundles, each with its own rental rates. The order screen treats a rental bundle as one kit: dates, overbook, Add item(s), Swap item and reopened orders
  • New featureWith the Sales Igniter plugins. A rental bundle extends as one rental, its late fee follows the bundle’s price and its booking deposit covers its items; security deposits per item; one location per bundle sold from stock by location; bundle subscriptions billed on the bundle line; product fields asked once (an item can ask its own); bundles in quotes
  • New featureImport. From Product Bundles and Composite Products: detect, dry run, import, side-by-side use and rollback, in the admin and in WP-CLI. Historic orders of both plugins are read as they were written and are added to Analytics
  • New featureFor developers. PHP API, REST v3 fields, Store API data, product CSV columns, a Query bundles ability, WP-CLI commands and theme template overrides
  • New featureWorks with. The Cart and Checkout blocks, Mini-Cart, HPOS and PHP 7.4 to 8.4; Stripe, WooPayments and PayPal express buttons, ShipStation, invoice and packing slip plugins, Min/Max Quantities, AutomateWoo, Name Your Price, WooCommerce Subscriptions, Product Add-Ons and Elementor
  • New featureYour data. A setting removes all Bundles data when the plugin is deleted (off by default). No telemetry, and the editor never locks when a license expires
  • FixRental kits priced from their items. A rental bundle set to the items’ rental prices less a discount no longer needs rental rates of its own. It goes in the cart and through checkout at its items’ price, its product page and the shop show the items’ rate as its “From” price, and booking deposits and late fees follow the same price
  • FixLive total after a choice. On a rental bundle’s page the live total no longer drops to the items sold with it (for example only a travel bag) after another option is chosen in a choice
