Release history for the Maintenance & Inspections plugin. The newest release is listed first.
Version 1.0.0 – October 12, 2026 #
The first release. Needs Sales Igniter Rentals & Bookings for WooCommerce Regular 1.0.79 or later.
- New featureMaintenance tickets. Tickets (MT-1042) with statuses (Reported, New, In progress, Waiting for parts, At vendor, Ready to rent, Written off, Cancelled; rename them, choose their colours and which keep stock out, or add your own), priorities, kinds, a problem list, an expected date, a technician, a timeline with comments and photos, and Write off
- New featureOut of stock until fixed. A ticket keeps its units off the calendar from the moment it is opened, or from a planned start, until Ready to rent. A ticket still open after its expected date keeps blocking a day at a time and shows Overdue. A ticket never cancels a booking: the bookings it leaves short are listed before you save
- New featureNeeds service at check-in. One switch on the Return screen (one booking or many), scans and the REST return: pick the problem, add a note and photos, and the unit comes back In maintenance on a ticket linked to the booking. A unit already on an open ticket gets the check-in on that ticket
- New featureThe board. All open, Mine, Overdue, Waiting, Services due and Done, with search, filters, Export CSV, summary cards and one button for each ticket’s next step. Units set to Damaged by hand show as “Marked damaged, no ticket”
- New featureSend to maintenance from a serial’s page, the Serials list and a rental line of the order once its units came back
- New featureService schedules. Every so many days, weeks, months or years, rentals, days on rent or meter hours, whichever comes first, for every unit of a product or one unit. Units show OK, Due soon, Due, Overdue or Snoozed; a due unit gets a service ticket that blocks it (from the end of its rental when it is out), a ticket without a block, or only a listing. Done, snooze and CSV import
- New featureThe check-out guard. A unit whose service is due shows a note on the Send screen; with “Block when overdue” an overdue unit cannot be sent out until it is serviced or snoozed
- New featureChecklists. Serial custom field sets used as checklists at check-out, check-in and during a service; a failed answer opens a ticket or is recorded. Check-out and check-in photos side by side on the ticket
- New featureReport a problem in My Account. Customers report a problem with a rental from their order, with photos and how to be contacted, and get a reference. The report does not keep stock out until staff confirm it
- New featureCosts. Parts from your parts list (with an optional stock count), labour in minutes or by timer, vendor invoices and other costs on every ticket, with “Bill to customer”, our cost and the billable total. A Vendor card for units at a workshop
- New featureDamage charges. Charge a customer for damage from the held security deposit, the card saved at checkout, a pay link or at the counter, always after staff review. Each charge is its own order (DC-1234-1); declines are retried; waive and refund. A held deposit is not refunded while a charge is being decided
- New featureReports. Cost per item against rental revenue, downtime and repair time, utilisation impact and shortage days, service compliance and the most common problems, each with filters and Export CSV; a Maintenance card on the Rentals dashboard
- New featureEmails. New ticket from a check-in, Maintenance job assigned, Maintenance ticket overdue, the daily maintenance digest, Inspection failed at check-out, New customer report, We received your report, and the damage charge pay and receipt emails, all WooCommerce emails with previews
- New featureREST API and privacy. Endpoints under wc-sibooking/v1/maintenance for tickets, schedules, checklists, inspections, costs, parts, vendors, damage charges and reports. Personal data export and erase cover customer reports and their photos
- New featureOwn licence key. The plugin has its own licence key field (“Licence” on the Plugins screen; left empty, the Regular edition’s key is used) and takes updates from the store
