Version 1.0.3 – October 12, 2026 #

• New featureKeep part of a deposit. With Rentals & Bookings 1.0.79 a late fee the deposit covers is kept from it and the rest is refunded as usual; the order’s Security deposit box says what was kept and for what
• ImprovementAll rentals back. When an order’s last item comes back and its deposit is still held, an order note and a “Refund the security deposit” button say so
• ImprovementRefund emails. They greet the customer by first name and say how much came back, what was kept and what is still held; the rental’s sent and returned emails say what happens to the deposit
• ImprovementMy Account. Each deposit says whether it is held, refunded, partly refunded or kept
• ChangePer-order deposit. The cart deposit is now the “Per-order deposit”, lists the products that use it, and its line says “Refundable deposit: Kayak”
• FixSettings. Settings hide what their switch turns off, and the refund delay follows its switch
• ImprovementLicense page. This plugin’s License page (the License link on the Plugins screen) has the Rentals look: one panel with the key’s state, the key and its two buttons
• New featureLicenses. With Rentals & Bookings Regular 1.0.79 or later, this plugin’s license is also listed on Rentals → Settings → Advanced → Licenses: whether your main license covers it (asked of the store, not assumed) and a field for a key of its own. Its License link on the Plugins screen still works
• FixUpdates. No update notice when the key in use does not include this plugin (the download would fail with “Unauthorized”)

• New featureAutomatic updates. This plugin has its own licence key field (“Licence” on the Plugins screen; left empty, the Regular edition’s key is used) and takes updates from the store, over https
• New featureRefunds wait for the balance. The automatic refund of a security deposit waits while another plugin holds it (the sisecuritydeposits_auto_refund_allowed filter); Rentals & Bookings 1.0.76 holds it until the booking’s balance is paid. A held refund is noted on the order and tried again by the twice-daily check
• New featureNineteen languages. The product page notice, the settings, the product tab, the order screen and the refund emails are translated into French, German, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Portuguese (Brazil and Portugal), Chinese (Simplified), Hindi, Arabic, Russian, Turkish, Romanian, Polish, Japanese, Korean, and Swiss German, French and Italian
• FixNo translation file was ever loaded: the plugin looked for them in a folder that does not exist, so every string stayed English
