Version 1.1.2 – September 23, 2026 #

• ChangeIncludes 1.0.8, 1.1.0 and 1.1.1. This is the first release offered as an automatic update since 1.0.7, so a site updating from 1.0.7 also gets everything listed under 1.1.0 and 1.0.8 below
• FixWaits for the booking engine it builds on. When Sales Igniter Rentals & Bookings is missing, the plugin shows a notice saying what to install; when it is installed but paused (for example on a site without Secure Custom Fields), that plugin’s own notice explains why. The Regular edition hit a critical error in exactly that situation, so this plugin now checks too
• New featureNineteen languages. The checkout signing block, the contract PDF, the emails and the Contracts settings are translated into French, German, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Portuguese (Brazil and Portugal), Chinese (Simplified), Hindi, Arabic, Russian, Turkish, Romanian, Polish, Japanese, Korean, and Swiss German, French and Italian. Before, no translation file was ever loaded
• ImprovementThe contract is written in the language the customer signed in, recorded on the order, even when it is built later by the shop’s New order email or an administrator pressing Download. Dates and the order status in the PDF follow that language too
• New featureContracts in Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Hindi. Fonts for those scripts are bundled; their text used to print as empty boxes. A typed signature in a script the handwriting font cannot draw is shown in the contract’s own font, so it stays legible
• ImprovementRight-to-left layout. An Arabic contract runs right to left, tables included, and the checkout signature pad and the contract box on the order screen mirror too
• ChangeYour own contract title and terms title are no longer passed through translation, so a store with translations installed cannot see them replaced

Version 1.1.0 – September 11, 2026 #

• New featureA rebuilt signing block. The customer types or draws their signature, switches between the two, and can undo a stroke rather than starting again. The drawing library is bundled with the plugin instead of loaded from a third-party CDN, so signing keeps working if that CDN does not
• New featureAn explicit consent checkbox, which the customer has to tick, and which is checked again on the server – a consent box that only the browser enforces is not evidence of anything
• New featureA tamper-evident audit trail. Each contract event is recorded in a hash-chained log, so an entry cannot be altered or removed after the fact without breaking the chain
• New featureThe signed PDF is generated once, fingerprinted with a SHA-256 hash and given a certificate page recording who signed, when, and the hash of the document they signed
• New featureVerify and Download actions in the admin, so a member of staff can confirm a stored contract still matches its fingerprint and hand a copy to whoever is asking for it
• ImprovementContract downloads are access-checked, rather than available to anyone with the link
• CompatibilityContract data is stored in an HPOS-safe way, so it is read and written through the order object rather than post meta
