Release history for the Request a Quote & Hide Price plugin. The newest release is listed first.

Version 1.0.9 – October 27, 2026 #
  • ImprovementText screen: the wording customers see from this plugin (the quote basket, the request form, the quote page and the quote emails) is on Rentals → Settings → Text, beside Rentals & Bookings Lite 1.0.21 or Regular 1.0.85. Search for the words, type your own, and each language keeps its own wording. Without Rentals & Bookings the screen is WooCommerce → Text, and a “Text” link on this plugin’s settings opens it.
Version 1.0.8 – October 23, 2026 #
  • FixHidden prices. On rentals whose price is hidden, the Rentals pricing card and its rates no longer show, the price filter’s range leaves those prices out, and the store’s product data no longer offers those products for direct purchase (it shows your quote button instead of Reserve)
  • New featureTranslations. Translated into 17 languages, reviewed language by language: Arabic, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil and Portugal), Romanian, Spanish, Swedish and Turkish. German uses the formal “Sie”. WordPress picks the language of your site or of each user’s profile
Version 1.0.7 – October 22, 2026 #
  • New featureSame address for billing. When the request form asks for both addresses, a “Use same address for billing” box after the delivery address hides the billing fields and saves the delivery address as the billing address, so customers type one address. It starts ticked (Quotes settings → Request form → Same address for billing); a logged-in customer whose saved addresses differ starts with it unticked and both addresses filled in. Works without JavaScript too, and in the quick-quote popup
  • ImprovementSaved addresses. A logged-in customer with only a billing address saved finds it filled in as the delivery address as well. The quick-quote popup fills in saved addresses and no longer asks for the email and phone a second time in the address
  • FixClassic checkout. An accepted quote with a delivery address of its own (no billing address, or a different one) starts the classic checkout with “Ship to a different address?” ticked, so the order ships to the quoted address
Version 1.0.6 – October 20, 2026 #
  • New featureAttachment retention. Files customers attach to a quote are deleted sooner than the quote: 90 days after it closes without an order, 180 days after the rental ends (or the order is completed) when it was ordered. Both are in the Quotes settings, Data (7 to 730 and 30 to 1,095 days); open quotes keep their files, the quote itself still follows “Delete closed quotes after”, and the quote’s timeline records each deletion. After the update nothing is deleted under the new rules for 7 days
  • ImprovementDownload links. Customers’ download links work for 7 days; the quote page gives fresh links each time it is opened, and an expired link says so
  • ImprovementClean-up. Every day, files in the plugin’s private folder that no quote or basket names any more are deleted once they are a day old, with the count in the WooCommerce log
  • FixRental quotes keep their delivery. An accepted rental quote keeps its delivery and time slot when it goes to the cart (it came back as Pick up with no slot, and checkout refused the slot)
  • FixHeader badge. The quote basket badge fits 3-digit counts
  • FixPhones. A wider Qty field, and the shipping and fee boxes stacked, in the quote editor at phone width
  • FixQuote editor. No “editing version N” notice right after sending; it shows only when your working copy differs from the sent offer
  • FixPhone numbers. Phone numbers are kept as the customer typed them
  • FixQuote page. The quote number, status and Valid until are no longer hidden by themes that hide header elements
Version 1.0.5 – October 16, 2026 #
  • ImprovementNew admin menu. With the new Rentals menu (Rentals & Bookings Lite 1.0.18 / Regular 1.0.81), Quotes moves from WooCommerce to a menu of its own after Rentals and Locations (Quotes, Reports, Settings), with the ruled ledger icon and the Rentals top bar; the Dashboard’s Needs you counts new quotes and change requests, and Rentals → Reports links to the quote reports. Without Rentals & Bookings, Quotes stays under WooCommerce
  • ImprovementLicense. Beside Rentals & Bookings Regular 1.0.81 this plugin is on the one Licenses screen (Rentals → Settings → Licenses): Included when your package covers it, else with a key of its own. An expired key keeps it working; only updates are paused. Its own License page leads there. Used without Regular, nothing changes
  • New featureBundles. A bundle of Sales Igniter Bundles & Composites is quoted like any other bundle: one quote line with its items listed under it, its quoted price shared across the bundle and its items, back into the cart or onto an order with its items. When its price is hidden, its product page shows no item prices, total or savings either
  • FixRequest a quote in the booking bar. The button has colours of its own (an outline in the booking colour beside Reserve), so it stays readable when the theme strips the bar’s buttons; it was white on white on the Bold style
Version 1.0.3 – October 12, 2026 #
  • ImprovementRequest a quote beside Reserve. On a rental, Request a quote sits in the booking bar beside Reserve and is shaped like it; a hidden-price rental’s bar asks for dates, not a price
  • ImprovementRequest form. The form lists what it needs at the top, marks each field and asks for the phone once
  • ImprovementQuote page on a phone. It keeps clear of the account menu, has no gap after its actions and shows the status once
  • ImprovementDates and emails. Dates read “November 14, 2026”, and a request email says once that prices follow
  • FixSettings. Quotes settings hide what their switch turns off
  • ImprovementLicense page. This plugin’s License page (the License link on the Plugins screen) has the Rentals look: one panel with the key’s state, the key and its two buttons
  • New featureLicenses. With Rentals & Bookings Regular 1.0.79 or later, this plugin’s license is also listed on Rentals → Settings → Advanced → Licenses: whether your main license covers it (asked of the store, not assumed) and a field for a key of its own. Its License link on the Plugins screen still works
  • FixUpdates. No update notice when the key in use does not include this plugin (the download would fail with “Unauthorized”)
Version 1.0.2 – October 6, 2026 #

The first release. Needs WooCommerce; rental quotes need Sales Igniter Rentals & Bookings for WooCommerce.

  • New featureQuotes for WooCommerce. Add to quote, a quote basket and request form, hide price rules and quote-only products, the quote editor with versions and a PDF, accept and pay at your price, fifteen WooCommerce emails, and rental quotes with dates and stock holds when Sales Igniter Rentals & Bookings is active
  • New featureQuote basket icon. A quote basket icon with a count badge. Use the Mini Quote Basket block (Show as: Icon), or turn on WooCommerce → Settings → Quotes → General → Quote icon in the header to put it next to the cart icon in block themes, Astra and Storefront (off by default)
  • ImprovementMessage under the button. The message after Request a quote / Add to quote sits on its own line under the button
  • ImprovementFlexible dates off by default. Flexible dates (“My dates can move by (days)” on rental products) is now off by default. To keep offering it, turn on WooCommerce → Settings → Quotes → Rentals → Flexible dates
  • FixQuote page totals. The totals line up under the Total column when no item has a suggested price
  • ImprovementChange request panel. The Change request panel in the quote editor mentions target prices only when the customer gave one
