Release history for the Multi Location Inventory add-on. The newest release is listed first.

Version 1.0.6 – October 20, 2026 #
  • FixUnits badge per location. The product page’s units badge counts the units at the chosen location, the same number as the location picker, and follows a change of location
  • FixChanging the Return location. Changing the Return location keeps your dates when the start is still allowed and the dates are still free there; otherwise they are cleared and the page says why
Version 1.0.5 – October 16, 2026 #
  • ImprovementNew admin menu. With Rentals & Bookings Regular 1.0.81, Locations keeps its own menu with a top bar: Stock (stock by location, Transfers), Stores (Locations, Franchises, Settlement), Reports (Usage by location, One-way flows, Transfers, Days at each location; the period and the location carry from one report to the next) and Setup (Location settings, One-way fees). Rentals → Reports links to the location reports
  • ImprovementLicense. Beside Rentals & Bookings Regular 1.0.81 this plugin is on the one Licenses screen (Rentals → Settings → Licenses): Included when your package covers it, else with a key of its own. An expired key keeps it working; only updates are paused. Its own License page leads there. Used without Regular, nothing changes
  • ImprovementTransported rentals hold their days. A rental transported from a location holds its unit for the turnaround (the product’s buffer, or the location’s turnover when longer) plus the days in transport each way. Until now the longer of the two counted, so a product shipped from your locations may show fewer free days; a notice lists the products this changes, and the location editor says so under “Days in transport”
  • New featureDelivery & pickup by location. With Rentals & Bookings Regular 1.0.80 and its delivery & pickup on, each location offers the ways its hand-over modes allow (Pick up at a counter, Delivery where it delivers, Transport where it ships), and its closed days and turnover count for the hand-over days. The product page offers the ways of the location the rental is handed over at
  • New featureDelivery areas. Each delivering location’s area (postcodes, distance, windows and hand-overs per window) is copied once into Settings → Delivery & pickup → Delivery areas, delivered from that location; change it there from then on. While delivery & pickup is on, its delivery areas and slots decide where and when a location delivers
  • New featureSchedule per location. With Sales Igniter Smart Routing’s day sheet on (with Regular 1.0.80), each location’s staff get that location’s whole Schedule every morning (this plugin’s own day sheet is no longer sent). The Schedule and the delivery areas list your locations, and each location’s routes start from its address
  • New featureTransport days by destination. A location can use the store’s “Days in transport by destination” table or its own; its days in transport are the fallback for places with no row
  • ImprovementTransport. The location editor, the product page and the cart say “transport” where they said “post” (“Days in transport”, “Transported to you from the location with one free for your dates”), as Regular 1.0.80 calls that way Transport
  • New featureBundles. Bundles of Sales Igniter Bundles & Composites whose items are stocked per location take one location: an item short there refuses the bundle, the paid order takes each item’s units there (a cancel puts them back), and a location’s listing counts the complete sets its items make. New filters simultilocation_kit_children, simultilocation_kit_required_parts, simultilocation_kit_parts and simultilocation_container_keys
Version 1.0.3 – October 12, 2026 #
  • New featureMaintenance at a location. With Maintenance & Inspections, a unit in maintenance is held at its location (where it came back, for one sent to maintenance at check-in) and counts only there, with one-way rentals on or off; a one-way rental’s look-ahead counts it too
  • ImprovementLocations menu. A Locations menu of its own, right after Rentals: Stock by location, Transfers, Reports (with two locations or more), Locations, Franchises and Settlement (once there are franchises). The pages keep their addresses; an order’s location view stays under Rentals → Bookings
  • ImprovementLicense page. This plugin’s License page (the License link on the Plugins screen) has the Rentals look: one panel with the key’s state, the key and its two buttons
  • New featureLicenses. With Rentals & Bookings Regular 1.0.79 or later, this plugin’s license is also listed on Rentals → Settings → Advanced → Licenses: whether your main license covers it (asked of the store, not assumed) and a field for a key of its own. Its License link on the Plugins screen still works
  • FixUpdates. No update notice when the key in use does not include this plugin (the download would fail with “Unauthorized”)
  • New featureAI connections. With Lite 1.0.16 and its AI connections switched on, AI assistants list your locations with their opening hours, see where each product is picked up, check free dates and exact prices at one location, and hand over a booking link that opens the product at that location
Version 1.0.2 – October 5, 2026 #
  • ImprovementUnified pricing. With Lite 1.0.13 and Regular 1.0.76, a location’s price rule and the one-way fee are priced by the shared pricing engine on every price path, and the booking bar still names the location’s line. With “Use legacy pricing (deprecated)” on, they are applied as before
  • New featureOwn licence key. This plugin has its own licence key field (“Licence” on the Plugins screen; left empty, the Regular edition’s key is used) and takes updates only from the store, over https
  • ImprovementThe stock a location’s calendar and product page show is cached per location, so one location’s answer is never shown for another
  • ImprovementWith the store setting “Allow rentals to start on the same day as they are returned” (Lite 1.0.13), a location’s turnover after a day rental counts from the start of the return day
  • ImprovementThe location search shares the base plugin’s rate limit, and the Send and Return location filter reads booking ids (Regular 1.0.76; older Regular editions keep the old filter)
  • FixGrouped and bundle pages. On a grouped rental page (Lite 1.0.13) each item’s availability and price follow the shopper’s chosen location, as on its own product page, and a bundle’s or composite’s booking deposit line (Regular 1.0.76) is worked out at that location; they were read across all locations
  • FixFull-page caches. A product page opens on the visitor’s own location (with its “Not available in …” note) rather than on the one chosen by whoever filled the cache, and today’s opening hours on product pages, location pickers and location pages are put right on a page stored on an earlier day
  • FixA stock move, transfer, location or price rule change shows at once in the calendars and prices the base plugin caches for a few minutes (Lite 1.0.13)
  • FixUnlimited stock reads the same everywhere (the base plugin’s value), and a location’s minimum rental reads the product’s categories from the cache
  • FixA location statement PDF that cannot be written is logged in WooCommerce → Status → Logs
Version 1.0.1 – September 29, 2026 #
  • FixOrder pages and emails no longer show internal location fields such as “simultilocation_0”. Clicking Update on an order in the admin used to save the Pick-up and Return lines back onto the order as extra fields, which the customer’s order page and the order emails then printed with their internal names
  • FixThe admin order screen no longer lists a rental line’s internal location data (location numbers, the saved location details, the one-way fee as a raw number). Each line reads “Pick-up”, “Return” and, for a one-way rental, “One-way fee (from → to)” with the amount
Version 1.0.0 – September 28, 2026 #
  • New featureFirst release. Several rental locations in one WooCommerce shop, each with its own stock, opening hours, special hours, closed days, lead time, minimum rental and turnover
  • New featureCustomers shop by location and choose where they pick up and return; delivery areas and hand-over points; location order emails and texts; pricing by location
  • New featureOne-way rentals with route fees, transfers between locations, the stock journal, stock by location for rentals and for products sold outright, and shortage alerts
  • New featureStaff per location, franchises with settlement and statements, tax by location, reports by location, calendar feeds per location and a REST API
  • ImprovementLicensing: enter this add-on’s own key on the Location settings screen, or, if you bought it in a bundle, leave the field empty and the add-on uses the key you entered in the Regular edition
  • ImprovementNeeds Sales Igniter Rentals & Bookings Regular 1.0.74 or later (with its bundled Lite 1.0.10) and PHP 8.1 or later
