Release history for the Delivery by Distance plugin. The newest release is listed first.
Version 1.0.1 – October 16, 2026 #
The first release. Needs WooCommerce; works with Sales Igniter Rentals & Bookings for WooCommerce Regular 1.0.80 or later.
- ImprovementNew admin menu. With the new Rentals menu (Rentals & Bookings Lite 1.0.18 / Regular 1.0.81), there is no Delivery by Distance item under WooCommerce: the settings stay under WooCommerce → Settings → Shipping → Delivery by Distance, Ctrl+K opens them, and the old address still works
- ImprovementLicense. Beside Rentals & Bookings Regular 1.0.81 this plugin is on the one Licenses screen (Rentals → Settings → Licenses): Included when your package covers it, else with a key of its own. An expired key keeps it working; only updates are paused. Its own License page leads there. Used without Regular, nothing changes

Price tables by distance, drive time or whichever costs more, in miles or kilometres, one way, there and back, or delivery and collection; distance bands with a per-mile charge, limits, free delivery, minimum order, lowest and highest fee, extra charges and rounding, with a preview and Test an address
- New featureNo map service needed. Own calculation measures the straight line times a road factor, with no key, no cost and nothing sent anywhere; work the road factor out from a few real trips. Postcode points for your country download once (GeoNames data) and refresh monthly
- New featureMap services when you want them. Road distances and drive times from Geoapify, openrouteservice, LocationIQ, TomTom, HERE or Google, with a daily cap, usage counts, Test the connection and own calculation as the fallback; a checkout never waits more than a few seconds
- New featureOrigins. Each delivery is measured from the nearest active origin: your store and any warehouses or branches; with Multi Location Inventory your delivering locations are added as origins
- New featureFor customers. A “Delivery to my postcode” checker on product pages (also a shortcode and a block), address suggestions and “Check the pin on the map” at checkout. The order screen shows the distance, drive time and price table used
- New featureWith Rentals & Bookings. A delivery area of Delivery & pickup can be priced by distance, transport days can follow the distance, the store’s address lookups go through your map service, and Smart Routing can plan with road travel times
